Update for 7/21/01 Made by. iZaq I just made a last minute decision to ditch the splash page. Even though I am really into presentation of site, I find it more of an inconvience to gamers. I know from experience, I hate dealing with load times. This site has practically none. Maybe the first time you visit you might wait 5 seconds max. I figured going through another page creates havoc. Confusion of what page is what, and added load time. Site is now entering phase 2, addition of content. Take note whenever we decide to change our look, you can view all our old site looks at About the Glacier. I am also thinking, when we have the extra staff to provide inside gaming news, on a daily basis, also if I hadn't said it before, we are only going to be providing coverage for mainly RPGs, no plans of yet of covering a variety of genres... Update for 7/21/01 Made by. iZaq Holy Crap! I can't believe I hand programmed this whole site. Wow it looks nice. If you haven't already noticed the left navigation bar went through a transformation. I believe about every possible section is covered for pretty much any kinda game. But if one comes along that will introduce a new section, I'll add it. I also plan on when I get my NEW dsl service to register a domain, and get this site exposed. Also I plan on downloading lots of MP3s and useful web dev. apps. This concludes this broadcast. Everything for the site outline is pretty much done, besides any last minute changes. Like I said, I am still discussing on if I should add anything to make the site look nicer. I dunno though. I think it looks pretty damn good! Update for 7/21/01 Made by. iZaq Damn. I have been having heartburn for the past weeek now, and I am am losing lots of sleep! (hehe cool it ryhmed). That's what has contributed to this site getting up so fast. While I am trying to wait for the anit-acid to kick in, I work on the site, and once I feel better, I hop back in bed. It all works out really well except for the pain factor. Anyways, I wanted to all let you know, that this site is almost set in the design phase. That means that we are just adding the little extra touchs to the GUI interface, and the interface in general. I have added a few more links to the navigation today: Game Quarks/Glitchs & a Music/Audio/Digital section. Once again by the way, do not hessitate to e-mail us with any suggestions. You can make a suggestion about anything about enhancing the site to writting us to show us your website. Well heartburn is half settled, better stay away from the root bear, and just stick to water, milk, and bland foods, and I should be alright. Anywho, I will start getting up the htmls with outlines, then the rest will be up to my team. I expect this site to open soon. I plan on not working much on the site for a few days, cuz my friend is out visiting from Florida, and I would much rather do stuff with him, hey I gotta a life too ya know? Update for 7/20/01 Made by. iZaq Debugging, god it's a pain. I just spent the past hour or so, making the table match up with the bottom end img on the menu. I am not happy how I forced it to work. Like I said, nothing is final as of yet. It will be a little longer till we get a good outline, once we do, I will get my staff of 3 now, working on the content. Right now, it's just getting the layout of each page just right. Whoa! I just noticed that I made 3 updates just today! I better stop lol, atleast the site is reaching its final canadate. I hope that I can be pleased with my work, I am really critical of my work, and take too much time making it look perfect. Oh well, it's almost done. iZaq Signing off.... Update for 7/20/01 Made by. iZaq Site Still in debate on what exactly we are planning here, I know atleast I am. I am just not 100% pleased with the site design. I am liking the colors though, and the logo. I just believe that the GUI aspect of the interface is looking bloated. I think I will get some expert opinions. I am just thinking that things are too optimized for those who have a a resolution of < 640x480. I really should create it for a minimum that is higher, and still can be easly viewed. Hmm, still thinking. If you haven't already noticed btw, load times are low, complements of Photoshop ;). Anywho, I will try my best to start making some decisions, so I can really start putting out work I am positive is what I want. Not like I'm saying this outline is bad, just deciding on lots of things, including a new host sometime, and a domain. Well so long for now... Update for 7/20/01 Made by. iZaq Currently, I am trying to aquire new staff members to get this site up and running, and help maintain it. Currently I am sitting around 2 people I can think of (my friends), that could help with the site. I know for sure that I will be getting Vincent in here, and expect some small changes in how things or organized here. All the htmls we have up for now is the splash, updates, and disclaimer htmls. I plan on taking off the link on the splash until we open. Well better be going. By the way, I almost forgot,...our old sites can be viewed here at our history page.
